How to Unlock and Use Emotes in LoL: Wild Rift?

Just like League of Legends, you can use emotes in Wild Rift as well. But to use emotes, you first need to get them which can be obtained by completing missions. This guide will show you how to unlock and use emotes in LoL: Wild Rift.

What are Emotes?

Emotes are gestures that you can use to convey emotion to other players in chat or during a match. They are obtained by leveling up, clearing events, or purchased from the Poro Shop.

How to unlock emotes in League of Legends: Wild Rift?

To unlock new emotes in League of Legends: Wild Rift – players have to complete certain missions and events. If you go to the emotes tab from the main menu, there you can find the condition to unlock that particular emote. The steps are as follows:

Step 1. Open League of Legends: Wild Rift on your preferred platform.

Step 2. Select the second option with the "Star-like" icon from the bottom menu. Next, go to the emotes tab, i.e, the last tab in the bottom menu.

Step 3. Click on any of the emotes that you want to unlock. In the bottom right corner of the screen – you can see the conditions to unlock that particular emote.

Step 4. You need to complete all of them and you will get the Good Job emote as part of your daily rewards.

Tip, those emotes are likely to become purchasable through the in-game shop after the game's release.

How to use emotes in League of Legends: Wild Rift?

After you've make sure to unlock the emotes in Wild Rift, you can use them. You'll need to:

Step 1. Once you get the emote, head to the main menu and select the star-shaped icon beside the coins icon.

Step 2. Select the Good Job emote and drag it to the square with a plus to equip it.
        → This will make the emote available for use during the game.
        → You can also place any emotes to the auto-fire section to automatically trigger emotes during in-game events like match start, getting a victory, or acing the enemy team.

Step 3. Once you have your emotes equipped, you can start up a game, and you'll need to use the chat icon on the top right corner of your screen to use your emotes during a match.

Step 4. Press the chat icon and select the top option, which's a smiley face. Your emotes will appear, and you'll be able to use them by clicking on an emote.

Use it now to mock your opponent or just tease your friend!
